VI. Operational Highlights and Precautions
6.1 Pre-use Preparation
Check that the power cord/line is intact and that the grounding is reliable.
Ensure the chamber interior and the exterior are clean, and that there are no impurities around the heating element.
Check that seals are intact and that the door can be fully closed.
Place the equipment on a level, well-ventilated surface, away from flammable and explosive materials.
6.2 Standard Operating Procedures
Turn on the power and switch on the main power switch.
Set the operating temperature (the initial temperature should not be too high).
Turn on the drum switch to promote air circulation.
Load the material (spread evenly to avoid over-thick accumulation).
Monitor operation status through the observation window.
After drying is complete, switch off the heating and wait until the chamber temperature drops below 60°C before removing the load.
6.3 ⚠️ Important Security Warnings
form
Prohibited Items Explanation
Flammable and explosive items must not be placed in the drying chamber for heating to avoid explosion risk.
Volatile chemicals are strictly prohibited.
Excessive loading/operation is not allowed. It is strictly forbidden to set a temperature higher than the unit’s rated maximum temperature.
Unattended operation is not allowed. Perform regular checks/patrols during operation.
Do not open the door at high temperatures. Try to avoid opening the door when the chamber is hot.
VII. Selection Recommendations
Select the temperature range according to material characteristics: thermally sensitive materials require a low-temperature type (< 100°C); general materials can use a 200°C type.
Select the chamber volume based on the load: consider the shape/size of the items and the number of carrier trays.
Select the controller based on precision requirements: a display-type controller is suitable for general experiments, while an intelligent program controller is recommended for precision experiments.
Select the materials based on the operating environment: for corrosive environments, stainless steel enclosures are recommended.
Reserve clearance for heat dissipation: keep at least 30 cm from the wall on the surrounding and rear sides of the chamber.
VIII. Maintenance
Clean the interior after each use until the chamber is completely cooled.
Regularly inspect heating components and verify turbine operation.
Worn or damaged sealing strips must be replaced in a timely manner.
When the unit is discontinued for long-term use, disconnect power, dry the chamber, and periodically switch on power to dehumidify.
