1. Product Overview

5-Station HNB Comprehensive Testing Machine (Model: JY-ND0105) – Advanced Real-Time Draw Resistance and Temperature Analysis for Heated Tobacco Products

The JY-ND0105 5-Station HNB Comprehensive Testing Machine is a state-of-the-art diagnostic testing system designed specifically for Heat-Not-Burn (HNB) and new tobacco product development, quality assurance, and third-party regulatory compliance. It captures critical thermodynamic and fluid dynamics data simultaneously, delivering synchronized, high-precision monitoring of suction resistance (draw resistance) and real-time heating temperatures throughout the entire puffing cycle.

Equipped with five independently controlled workstations, the JY-ND0105 enables operators to run simultaneous tests with distinct flow rates, puff durations, and intervals—without any cross-station interference. With an ultra-fast data sampling rate of up to 100 Hz, industry-leading pressure resolution (0.01 Pa), and accurate temperature tracking up to 400°C, the instrument produces complete, uncompressed original test curves. The system is compliant with major domestic and international aerosol testing standards, supporting seamless data connectivity, full traceability, and broad compatibility across diverse HNB device architectures. Customization is available to meet tailored, non-standard research and testing requirements.

2. Key Features

  • Five Independent Workstations for High-Throughput Testing: Perform up to five simultaneous testing procedures. Each station operates autonomously with independent parameter settings (puff volume, flow rate, duration, and interval), significantly improving laboratory efficiency without mutual interference.

  • Dual-Parameter Synchronous Tracking: Simultaneously measures real-time draw resistance (0–2000 Pa) and core heating temperature (0–400°C) during the smoking cycle, helping to identify key correlations between thermal behavior and aerosol suction dynamics.

  • Exceptional Precision and High Sampling Rate: With a high-response acquisition frequency of 10 to 100 Hz, the machine captures rapid fluctuations with high accuracy—providing pressure measurement accuracy of ±0.1 Pa (with 0.01 Pa resolution) and temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C.

  • Comprehensive Puffing Simulation: Highly flexible parameter controls allow users to simulate a wide range of human puffing behaviors, including puff volumes from 0 to 100 mL, flow rates from 5 to 60 mL/s, durations from 0.5 to 10 seconds, and intervals from 1 to 99 seconds, supporting up to 9,999 sequential puffs.

  • Full Data Traceability and Dynamic Curve Generation: Automatically generates detailed, real-time thermodynamic and pressure curves. Offers robust network connectivity for online data logging, export, and seamless integration into laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

  • Broad Compatibility and Tailored Customization: Compatible with various commercial and experimental HNB sticks, heating devices, and e-liquid vaporizers. Non-standard hardware and software customization is available upon request to support specialized R&D needs.

3. Applications

  • New Tobacco Product R&D: Support engineers in optimizing heating element designs, airflow channels, and ventilation structures by analyzing thermal decay and draw resistance curves.

  • Quality Control and Batch Testing (QC/QA): Ensure consistent draw resistance and safe operating temperatures across mass-manufactured HNB devices and consumables.

  • Third-Party Regulatory and Compliance Testing: Perform standardized aerosol and smoking routine tests in strict accordance with international and domestic regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, CORESTA guidelines).

  • Academic and Scientific Research: Provide high-frequency, reliable experimental data for thermodynamic and aerosolization studies in specialized laboratories.
