Cigar (Cigarette) Resistance Tester

HA Measuring by JINGYAO INSTRUMENT equips labs to build, test, fill and pack e-cigs, plus car, climate, sports, battery and furniture tests and charging aging cabinets.

Features of the Equipment

1) Uses high-precision imported electronic flow sensors and pressure sensors to accurately measure cigarette resistance performance.

2) One-button testing. After the sample is installed, the instrument can perform tests quickly with a single button. The unit includes a USB interface. The accompanying software can be used to perform statistical analysis and generate/print standard test reports. Test reports can also be saved in Excel format. The machine is equipped with a micro printer for real-time printing.

3) Compact design with space-saving layout, easy operation.

4) Touchscreen control for good human-machine interaction and simple operation.

5) Airbag clamping mechanism with one-button sample clamping to improve sealing while preventing damage to the filter rod. The testing structure is accurate and consistent with results from a comprehensive testing platform.

6) Standard filter rods with calibration certificates from tobacco research institutes are available as an optional selection.

7) Equipped with a flow controller to maintain an accurate gas flow rate even when different filter rods are used.

8) An independent negative-pressure control system ensures stable negative pressure, thereby guaranteeing consistent test results.

Product Introduction of the Absorption Resistance Tester

1) Measures the suction resistance of filter rods and conventional cigarettes for quality control in tobacco production and for tobacco inspection.

2) Testing principles and criteria:

By simulating a person’s smoking action and inhaling air at a fixed flow rate of 17.5 ml/s, a certain vacuum pressure is generated at the suction end of the cigarette. This vacuum pressure is the suction resistance (abbreviated as suction resistance). The instrument is designed in accordance with JJG (Tobacco) 15-2010 and GB/T 22838.5-2009, “Determination of the Physical Properties of Cigarettes and Filter Rods—Part 5: Cigarette Suction Resistance and Filter Rod Pressure Drop.”
