Operation Overview: A pneumatic clamp secures the fork upright tube. A cylinder then drives the fork to support installation and testing. After the operator positions the fork correctly, the operator presses the start button. The cylinder pushes the fork downward to the test position, initiating the test sequence.
Torsion Test: Once the fork reaches the test position, the fixed cylinders on both sides are actuated to secure the simulated mid-axle. A distance sensor is mounted on a movable magnetic base with a universal-joint arm. The operator aligns the fork to the specified test point. The distance sensor then measures the current distance between the sensor and the fork, and the torsion test begins. Next, the stop-pin cylinder moves downward to lock the rotating plate against the fork at the mid-axle. The motor drives the system to perform the torsion test. When the preset value is reached, the applied actuation force is released, and the post-test deformation of the fork is recorded.
Push-Pull Test: The push-pull cylinder moves back and forth. When the fork reaches the preset force value, the actuation force is released. At this stage, the distance sensor measures the distance between the sensor and the fork again. The system then calculates the difference between the two distance measurements and displays the result on the touch screen. After the test is complete, the fixed cylinders on both sides retract, the lifting cylinder raises the assembly, and the operator releases the pneumatic clamp to remove the fork.
