VI. Operational Highlights and Precautions

6.1 Pre-use preparation

Check that the power line is intact and that grounding is reliable.

Ensure the chamber is clean inside and outside and that there are no impurities around the heating element.

Check that seals are intact and that the door can be fully closed.

Place the equipment on a flat, well-ventilated surface, away from flammable and explosive materials.

6.2 Standard operating procedures

Turn on the power and switch on the power switch.

Set the operating temperature (the initial temperature should not be set too high).

Turn on the drum switch to promote air circulation.

Load the material (spread it evenly to avoid excessive accumulation thickness).

Monitor the operation through the observation window.

When drying is complete, switch off the heating and wait until the temperature drops below 60 °C before removing the samples.

6.3 ⚠️ Important security warnings

form

Prohibited items / Explanation

Flammable and explosive items must not be placed inside the drying chamber for heating to avoid explosions.

Volatile chemicals are strictly prohibited from being loaded.

Excessive use is not allowed. Do not set a temperature above the device’s rated maximum.

Never leave the unit unattended. Regular checks/patrols should be conducted during operation.

Do not open the door at high temperatures. Avoid opening the door when the chamber temperature is high.

VII. Selection Recommendations

Select the temperature range according to the material characteristics: use a low-temperature type (< 100 °C) for thermally sensitive materials; select a 200 °C setting for ordinary materials.

Select the working volume based on the load: consider the shape and size of the items and the number of carriers.

Select the controller based on precision requirements: display-type controllers for general experiments, and intelligent program-type controllers for precision experiments.

Select materials based on the operating environment: for corrosion-prone environments, stainless-steel enclosures are recommended.

Leave sufficient clearance for heat dissipation: not less than 30 cm from the wall on the surrounding sides and the rear of the chamber.

VIII. Maintenance

Clean the interior after each use until the chamber is completely cooled.

Regularly check the heating components and the operation of the turbines.

Replace any aged or damaged sealing strips promptly.

When the unit will not be used for an extended period, disconnect power, dry the chamber, and turn on electricity periodically to dehumidify.
