HA Measuring by JINGYAO INSTRUMENT equips labs to build, test, fill and pack e-cigs, plus car, climate, sports, battery and furniture tests and charging aging cabinets.
This device uses a xenon arc lamp to simulate the full solar spectrum, enabling the reproduction of destructive light effects across a range of environments. It provides environmental simulation and accelerated test capabilities for scientific research, product development, and quality control. Aging tests are performed by exposing material samples to the xenon arc lamp’s light and thermal radiation to assess the light and weather resistance of selected materials under high-temperature light source conditions. Common applications include automotive components, coatings, rubber, plastics, pigments, adhesives, fabrics, and outdoor sports equipment, among others.
This test chamber is designed and manufactured in accordance with the test methods specified in GB 1865-89 and GB 1766 standards. It provides controlled climate conditions, including light exposure, rain, condensation, temperature, humidity, and airflow.
1. Ventilation and cooling system: The chamber’s temperature ventilation and cooling system is automatically controlled via a temperature controller.
2. Rain system: The rain system includes components such as a water pump, time relay, nozzle, etc., and the spraying cycle is adjustable.
3. Control board thermometer: Uses wireless transmission technology to improve control accuracy.
4. Fiber-optic transmission for radiation intensity measurement: Measures the xenon lamp’s radiation intensity using fiber-optic transmission to avoid measurement errors caused by temperature variations.
5. Xenon lamp cooling water system: Equipped with a refrigeration unit. The cooling water can be recirculated, helping reduce operating and maintenance costs.
6. Rotating sample holder: The sample holder rotates around the light source at 1 rpm. A black panel thermometer (BPT) or a black standard thermometer (BST) is installed on the sample holder.
7. Timing device: To record the operating time of each test, the unit is equipped with a timer on the control panel to manage test duration. When the timer expires, the equipment automatically shuts down.
8. Protection device: To ensure normal xenon arc lamp operation and prevent damage, the equipment includes a protective function. The xenon arc lamp ignition is interlocked with the cooling water (i.e., the xenon arc lamp cannot be ignited if the cooling water is not operating). If a cooling water fault occurs during operation, the xenon lamp will be automatically extinguished and the entire unit will stop running.
9. Full-spectrum simulation: Supports simulation across the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared ranges, enabling solar spectrum testing.
1. GB 2423-24-1995: Simulate solar radiation at ground level.
2. GB 2424.14-1995: Guidelines for solar radiation testing.
3. ISO 4892-2:2006: Plastics—Laboratory light source exposure methods—Part 2: Xenon arc lamps.
4. ISO 11341-2004: Paints and varnishes—Simulation of climate and exposure to radiation—Xenon arc lamp exposure.
5. ASTM G155-05a: Standard practice for xenon arc spectrometer operation for exposure of non-metallic materials.
6. ASTM D2565-99: Standard practice for xenon arc exposure devices for outdoor plastics.
7. ASTM D4459-06: Standard practice for indoor use of plastics exposed to xenon arc lamps.
8. ASTM D6695-03b: Standard practice for xenon arc exposure of varnishes and related coatings.
9. GB/T 16422.2-199: Plastics—Laboratory light source exposure methods—Part 2: Xenon arc lamp.
10. GB-1449-2008: Overhead insulated cables with rated voltages of 10 kV and 35 kV.
11. GB-1449-2008: Overhead insulated cables with rated voltages of 1 kV and below.
