This instrument is used to determine the color of various lubricating oils and other petroleum products according to SH/T 0168-92, “Colorimetric Determination of Petroleum Products.” The sample is injected into the colorimetric tube and compared with the standard film to obtain the color number. The color number reported by the instrument is equivalent to that specified in GB/T 6540.

    1. Instrument configuration: standard chrome mounting, observation optical lens, light source, and colorimetric tube.

    2. Light source: 220 V / 100 W; rated color temperature: 2750 ± 50 K. The standard light source is an inner frosted milk-shell bulb.

    3. Color plate: 26 optical holes, Φ14 mm. Of these, 25 holes are fitted with color standard glass filters for channels 1 to 25, and the 26th hole is left blank.
