★ The instrument provides comprehensive test functions that not only meet the excitation characteristic test requirements (V-I characteristics), ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, secondary burden/load, ratio error and angle error for various current transformers (CTs), including protection, measurement and TP classes, but also supports excitation characteristic testing, ratio, polarity and secondary winding resistance tests for various potential transformers (PTs) electromagnetic units.
★ Key parameters, including inflection point voltage/current, the 10% (5%) error curve, Accurate Limit Factor (ALF), instrument security coefficient (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), residual magnetic coefficient (Kr), and saturation inductance are provided automatically.
★ The test conforms to relevant transformer standards, such as GB1208 (IEC 60044-1), GB16847 (IEC 60044-6), GB1207, etc. The appropriate test mode is automatically selected based on transformer type and application level.
★ Based on an advanced low-frequency testing method principle, the instrument can handle CT tests with inflection points up to 80 kV.
★ The instrument uses the internationally popular square-wave testing method to produce a more accurate excitation curve.
